How did you celebrate Mothers Day in the year 2020? I often wonder about Mothers Day: how do we properly appreciate our mothers without putting them on some pedestal?

Lately, I have taken a major role in the raising of my own children, and I have come to appreciate what mothers do, even aside from fathers taking a major role. This song may at times come off as a little judgmental, because it was written in reaction to the white protestors, waving guns around and talking about their "rights" to eat in a restaurant, while at the same time many of our elderly mothers were dying from COVID.

But maybe there is also a place for snarky country songs written by people who truly love their mothers. I certainly hope so, because here is one.
